A long time ago in a country far from here the MEK were Marxists. But not just any Marxists, they combined it with Islam. When they rose against the the Theocracy in 1981 they did so in the name of Islam. Basically they were Liberation Theology Muslims. They fought bravely. They even blew up a meeting and killed 70 mullahs. They assassinated the President, they came back the next week and killed the Prime Minister.
But they were beaten. With defeat sometimes comes a search for a short cut to victory.
They took that short cut and collaborated with Saddam in the war between Iran and Iraq. They gradually jettisoned any Marxist politics they had.
Under the Reagan, Bush, Clinton, Bush, Obama administrations different wings of the State have held conflicting positions towards the MEK. But at all times they have received support for black ops.
Rumsfield wanted to use the MEK army in IRAQ to launch an attack on Iran, let tgem raise the flag and then go in to support them! There were saner people in the Pentagon. They knew the MEK were more useful fo black ops and false flag operations.
The MEK are totally in the pocket of the US but they are not Marxists.

the sources...and double speak forked-tongue WASP/Zion bag of rattlers on the moral high-horse.
Interesting analysis Pat C and I think historically it stands up. There is one thing that I dont fully understand, it seems to me that the MEK group possess all the criteria for SWP support. I therefore dont understand why the SWP dont support them? Their silence on Libya was well noted on indymedia it seems strange they only support sertain bogey groups and not others
