On Saturday night at 3:30am the man, Pat Sweeney, who filmed Garda breaking up a mass in a church in Athlone just one week ago, was woken by Garda at the end of his bed to find they were taking him to Longford Garda station there and then because they were "concerned" about his health. It turns out they were using powers under the Mental Health Act to imply he was not well and that his kids were somehow at risk. In the video / audio of the event, you can hear the Garda say in response to his question -"where are my kids" -that they are being taken into care by TUSLA who have farmed them out to someone else. This is a new low for the government and represents a scandalous abuse of power to target a man who happened to expose their evil and criminal ways the previous week. Thankfully the video of this event has gone viral but not anywhere on mainstream media. read full story / add a comment

This letter from a consultant in the NHS appeared in the British Medical Journal (BMJ) in the rapid response section of BMJ 2021; 372 doi: https://doi.org/10.1136/bmj.n810 (Published 29 March 2021) explaining how staff in the NHS who have received the Covid vaccine are getting sick and some of them very seriously too. Oscailt v4.0, the software used by Indymedia Ireland, has been released just 4 months after the last version. It can be downloaded from it's SourceForge homepage. This release introduce a long overdue feature of tagging for stories which have been a common feature for quite a long time with other software. The changes for this required considerable work to add in the management of tags and the integration of them with searching and database queries, newswire filters and their import and export. This release increase the compatibility level of Oscailt up to PHP 7.4. As with with previous release, the User Guide has been updated to document these changes. read full story / add a comment

Tracy O'Mahony, the lone brave Barrister -(where are her colleagues? ) who has been speaking out about the stripping of our freedoms and civil liberties is asking people to help out with lobbying politicians who will have to vote on the part 3 of the Draconian Health Preservation Act limiting our Freedoms to extend it before 9 June 2021. It’s called the Green Passport. We’re not told to wear it, but what they have done is they have, essentially, overnight created a second-class citizenry—a true medical apartheid that is disallowing healthy, law-abiding, tax-paying citizens from entering their place of culture if they do not participate in this experiment. It’s that simple We literally have been told that there are people who’ve been kicked out of their choirs, out of their pools, out of their gyms. I don’t know who’s going to hear the message we’re saying. I don’t know what is going to become of it. Tonight people had gathered peacefully in Clapham, south London to pay their respects to Sarah Everard who was brutally murdered last week. Within a few days a London police officer was arrested on suspicion of the murder. The people present tonight were there because of their shock and horror and were not necessarily there for any other reason. It was a basic human act of kindness and solidarity. But in these strange times of Covid which has been used to usher in the global police state, obedience is the new mantra and the new normal. read full story / add a comment

Search engines have come to dominate our lives and Google which is by far the best known has by far the largest marketshare estimated to be anything from 70% to 90%. These search engines have become powerful tools for the corporations owning them as it gives them immense power to shape peoples lives since they control the algorithm controlling what you see when you search the news, check facts or try to search for information which they exclude from the search results because it does not suit their agenda. They also know incredible amounts about their users from their preferences, political leanings, lifestyles, ailments, age, location holiday preferences and practically every other aspects of them. On Tuesday (March 9th) Senator Rónán Mullen read into the public record of the Seanad as part of the Order of Business revealations about the fraudulent antics of leading members of the so called Independent Scientific Advocacy Group (ISAG) who have spent inordinate amount of time on the national media promoting lockdowns. Report published recently of the international correspondence and workings of the so-called Independent Scientific Advisory Group which has been pushing for a zero Covid approach. Four weeks ago, the head of the group wrote to its members asking them to "look for ways to increase insecurity, anxiety and uncertainty" and to "go after people and not institutions" because "people hurt faster than institutions". read full story / add a comment

Despite the media trying to smear and criminalize in the public mind anyone who attends an anti-lockdown protest, this week many hundreds of brave citizens turned up to the Cork anti-lockdown protests. Many more were turned away by the Irish Stasi working hard to bring in the Irish part of the global police state which we see rapidly unfolding over the past year all around us. Many roads leading to Cork such as the M7, M8, N25 and others had Garda checkpoints denying the constiutional right of people to travel more than 5km. read full story / add a comment |
