Michael Nugent of Atheist Ireland opened the exhibition pointing out that Ireland Blasphemy law was being used by Fundamentalist Islamic States to justify their campaign to have Defamation of Religion made an International criminal offence. Also, a German artist who had drawn cartoons of Jesus had his work published in Greece. Subsequently an International Arrest Warrant for him was issued by a Greek court. A lower German court ordered his extradition but it was overturned on appeal. Still, frightening that this can happen in Europe.
If it was an International criminal offence then you might be extradited to Saudi Arabia...

To date 7 people were arrested in Ireland in connection to this alleged 'plot'
To date 3 were released with 48 hours, 2 more were released without charge withiin a further 48 hrs, and so far only 2 people have appeared in court.
One of those was charged with immigration-related 'offences' relating to his identity, and the other was rather vaguely charged with 'making an SMS of a menacing nature'.
It has not even been specified to whom this person allegedly sent the alleged menacing SMS, so for all we know it could have been to his neighbour, or his bookie, or his milkman, if he ever even sent such an SMS, something which is far from proven
So neither has been charged with anything that could be claimed to be 'terrorist' or even 'murder' related.
so despite the media hullabaloo there has been ZERO evidence presented to support these allegations.

I'm sure not going to join that 'Church of God' outfit since it has got its theology in a twist. Hell is not reserved for atheist or anybody.
