Kneecap's vocal support for Hamas and call for fans to murder Tory MPs is obviously reprehensible. But it's just for show, says Andrew Doyle. The police shouldn't waste their time investigating rappers.

Film Description
Unrest tells the story of a twenty-eight-year-old Jennifer Brea, who is working on her PhD at Harvard and months away from marrying the love of her life when she gets a mysterious fever that leaves her bedridden and looking for answers. Disbelieved by doctors, yet determined to live, she turns her camera on herself and discovers a hidden world of millions confined to their homes and bedrooms by ME, commonly known as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.

More information below and at https://www.unrest.film/media/ (including images for the media to download)

The Irish ME/CFS Association is a registered charity that is run by a team of volunteers. It can be contacted at info@irishmecfs.org 01-2350965 website www.irishmecfs.org

Around 12,000 people in Ireland are thought to suffer from Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME), now often diagnosed under the name Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS). Symptoms include overwhelming flu-like exhaustion, made worse by exertion, muscle and joint pains, sore throats, swollen glands, disturbed sleep, impaired concentration & memory, dizziness and headaches. A particular feature of the disease is that the condition waxes and wanes over time and symptoms can fluctuate a great deal from day to day, or even within a day.

If you would like to do a feature/interview on ME between now and the end of ME Awareness month, May, (or International ME/CFS Day, May 12), we have dozens of sufferers and carers around the country (out of our total membership of 300), all with their own individual case histories, who are available for interview.

For further information and names of people who are available for interview contact: Tom Kindlon (Information Officer) 01-2350965 E-mail: tom@irishmecfs.org or Orla Ní Chomhraí (Secretary) 01-2350965 E-mail: info@irishmecfs.org

Jennifer Brea, the director of and lead character in the film Unrest, has indicated she may be available for some interviews by phone, Skype or email. She lives in the US so some advance notice would be required due to time-zone differences.
